Marina Gardea

As a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) with a degree in Fashion Design, I bring over five years of industry experience, having had the privilege of working through the design process from start to finish. My expertise includes pattern drafting, garment sewing, test fitting, technical design, trend research, project management, fabric and color selection, and fashion illustration.

I thrive in collaborative environments where I can take on independent tasks and grow through constructive feedback. Highly organized and detail-oriented, I take pride in my ability to deliver high-quality work while maintaining a clear vision.

Beyond my professional experience, I am passionate about creativity in all forms—whether it’s traveling to find inspiration, shopping for new ideas, or getting hands-on with personal projects like painting shoes or upcycling fabric into unique pieces.

Looking ahead, I’m eager to dedicate myself to creative collaboration, working with like-minded individuals in an environment where design and innovation are at the forefront. I’m most at home when I’m drawing, sewing, and making something new—just as I did during my time at fashion school.
